Fashion Rules is a glamorous exhibition at Kensington Palace, featuring dresses from the collection of Her Majesty The Queen, Princess Margaret, and Diana, Princess of Wales. I paid £16.30 for the ticket. There were five rooms, offering a glimpse of how the three royal woman navigated the current fashion, while still maintaining the 'rules' of royal dress. Garments, accessories, and design drawings reveal their designers' extraordinary attention to detail. The exhibition was also complemented by film and photography to set the scene, and potraying a feeling of the times in which these stunning gowns were worn!
These are the real sketches of clothes for the Queen and Princesses! Designer would prepare sketches annotated with notes and fabrics, and present them to his client for comment. Fabrics would be approved, a price agreed, and garments made up. Most of the dresses and accessories here went through this carefully orchestrated process.

It is a rare opportunity to get up close to these wonderful dresses and be transported to look back at recent decades of dress through the wardrobes of HM The Queen, Princess Margaret, and Diana, Princess of Wales. Going to this exhibition will be very enjoyable for those who love fashion! because other than looking at dresses that was worn by the royals, we can also see vintage designer goods! It was indeed very fun and it can also enhance my knowledge about the history of fashion. :)
