Today I went to VOGUE 100: A Century of Style. It started on 11 February and ended 22 May 2016, the ticket price was £17 each. Located inside the National Portrait Gallery, this exhibition showcasing the remarkable range of photographies that has been commissioned by British Vogue since it was founded in 1916. Over 280 prints from the Condé Nast archive and international collections was shown to tell the story of one of the most influential magazines in the world.

Each room represented a decade, starting with magazines published these days and moving back through previous decades to the very first issue. It was like VOGUE took us back through the years! Every portraits had descriptions such as the model, the photographer, the clothing brands, and the photoshoot location. These iconic images shot by leading photographers such as Mario Testino, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Cecil Beaton and many more.

Actually, taking a photograph was not permitted in the exhibition but I managed to snap a little! Hope you enjoy it ;) This exhibition is a must see for those who love fashion and curious to know the history behind these legendary portraits and love VOGUE of course!
